Note:
1. Swelling and redness at the site of injection and fever can occur with any vaccine. Paracetamol can be used, after consulting your doctor.
2. Ulcer formation and pus discharge are common after BCG vaccination; the ulcer may take many weeks to heal.
3. If your child develops excessive inconsolable crying, very high fever or seizures soon after vaccination, please consult your doctor immediately.
